This class is for those progressing to Common European Framework of Reference B1. Thursdays, 19:30, by Zoom. The course runs until June 2024. The lesson on 23 May will be more Q&A and discussion, in Cornish, on the first chapter of the novel An Peder Pluven, available on the Literature page of this website.
The class is not currently exam-oriented. There's a strong emphasis on speaking Cornish authentically and idiomatically. The course applies the principle of tota Cornicitas, bench-marking everything against the entirety of the historical evidence. The tutor is Ian Jackson, who is a qualified languages teacher. Places on the course are subject to availability. There is no charge. Participants are provided with electronic copies of the course materials. The spelling system used in this class is Kernowek Standard (Standard Cornish, KS).
