This class is for those progressing to Common European Framework of Reference B1. Thursdays, 19:30, by Zoom. The coursebook is Cara Kernowek Book Three, which remains a draft until we have fully road-tested it. The course runs until June 2024.
The class is not currently exam-oriented. There's a strong emphasis on speaking Cornish authentically and idiomatically. The course applies the principle of tota Cornicitas, bench-marking everything against the entirety of the historical evidence. The tutor is Ian Jackson, who is a qualified languages teacher. Places on the course are subject to availability. There is no charge. Participants are provided with electronic copies of the course materials. The spelling system used in this class is Kernowek Standard (Standard Cornish, KS).
