Exercise 7

Wella:

What language are you learning at school?

Tamsyn:

Spanish. What about you?

Wella:

French. But I’m going to drop it.

Tamsyn:

And what science are you learning?

Wella:

I’m learning all three: physics, chemistry and biology.

Tamsyn:

That’s a big undertaking! Which one do you like best?

Wella:

Physics, definitely. I like all the maths in physics. Which science do you like?

Tamsyn:

There’s no science I like! English literature and history are my favourites.

Wella:

No no, that’s dreams and times gone by! Science belongs to the future. And to the present day.

Tamsyn:

Oh Wella! You haven’t any soul!
